That being said, you may have guessed that I am very passionate about physical activity! I love exercise and enjoy just being outside, and a few of my favorite activities include running, tennis, swimming, and yoga. Additionally, I LOVE food, especially anything that is spicy. In general, I am a fun and outgoing person with a ton of energy! Hey, y'all! I'm Mikey, so please don't call me Michael. That sounds so old! D: I'm majoring in neurobiology and am going for a certificate in Japanese. I'm from the Chicago suburbs, so I love rap and R&B. My free time goes to watching cartoons or working in a neurobio lab. College can be intense sometimes, but know that University Housing desserts are always there for you!
Hey guys! I’m Keven Stonewall and I am a sophomore here at UW-Madison. My current major is Biology and I am pursuing medicine. I’m from Chicago so I love going downtown and just immersing myself in the busy city life. Hello there! My name is Eva Shelton and I am a sophomore here at UW-Madison majoring in Neurobiology and Psychology. I currently do research on obesity on campus. I love being outside, especially by the waters. I love running but I also love eating (as you might see with my exceptionally large chocolate bunny), so I guess the two balances out. Traveling is the dream life for me … I am working towards the ownership of my third passport, so I guess my life has kind of been about travel. I love talking and meeting new people, so I would love to meet you! I simply cannot wait to see what Madbio has to bring this year!!

Don’t let the picture deceive you, I actually really enjoy chemistry! This is just photographic evidence of a rough all-nighter my freshman year. During the academic semesters I devote most of my time to my courses and I work as an undergraduate researcher in the Department of Neuroscience and volunteer at UWHC. Outside of school I enjoy swimming, reading, coffee at all times of the day, and catching up with friends on the Memorial Union Terrace! I will be one of your many excellent Madbiology Bootcamp Counselors and I cannot wait to meet everyone and show you around this beautiful campus! On Wisconsin!

Additionally I am an avid runner, and am the President of the Wisconsin Track Club, so if you like to run/throw/jump hit me up! HEY!!!! My name is Caroline Rozado. I will be a sophomore this fall – I survived the first year – and hopefully I’ll finally declare myself as a Neurobiology and T.V Film and Radio major [ with a math minor] . Hopefully I can graduate and still have friends! Okay, now, if you must know, science is my passion; everything about it makes me excited, but it’s not the only thing I like to read/write/watch/do. I recently bought a new fancy schmancy camera to fulfill my photography desires…maybe we will do some photography stuff together! I watch all kinds of shows, anime included. I’m a pure animal lover; I grew up with a boxer named Lassie (R.I.P). Oh, and don’t let my concrete jungle background fool you, I am totally cool to get my hands dirty, you know, camping and what not. There is so much I am willing to try and have already tried. Oh, and btw – its my first year in MadBio too, so if you are feeling nervous, then we can feel nervous together! Anyways, I can’t wait to hear about what you guys like, hate, feel indifferent towards? Hope we have a unforgettable time with each other!

This MadBiology Boot Camp counselor hails from the land of golden coasts and happy cows - which are by all means connected. He is a major in Environmental Sciences and is interested in pursuing future work in graduate school with environmental applications of geographical modeling. In his free time he enjoys tennis, friendly games of spades, reading young-adult (and sometimes adult) fiction, DDR, and the classical Final Fantasy series. And in case you were wondering, consuming feline figures is a ritual only reserved for the direst of situations... Let that be a factor in deciding whether or not you should come into contact with him. Some have braved this most ridiculous tradition and are even living in close quarters with this man, but they will all tell you to keep your kittens close and your future counselor closer.
Hi all! My name is Aidan Holmes – science enthusiast, “nail paintress,” and self-proclaimed wolf whisperer. I am a genetics major here at UW-Madison and I will be a junior this fall. I am a CeO student and I am also involved in undergraduate research in a biochemistry lab – ask me about either (or anything else for that matter)! In my free time I love reading, hanging out with friends, crafting, volunteering, watching HGTV marathons, and attempting to cook. I’m really excited to be a counselor this year and I can’t wait to get to know everyone!
Hi! My name is Greg Sims. I am a senior majoring in Microbiology and just finished my applications to Physician Assistant Programs! My favorite things to do in my free time are eating, working out, and just being outside (in that order). I was a MadBio camper when I was a freshman and this is my second time being a counselor for such a great program! I love to answer your questions about classes, the school, jobs, and Bigfoot sightings. I am a very approachable guy so don’t be shy! This is going to be a great experience for your all!
